Is it me or is there a whole lotta orange going on here!
I subscribe to an art blog called MAKING A MARK. The author
is Katherine Tyrrell and she writes about art for artists and art lovers. I
think she is based in London. It's a great read for anyone who can't get
enough info about art. Yesterday she talked about a botanical illustration
exhibit in London. Today she gave the link to the fabulous new website for Rijksmuseun
in Amsterdam. Oh my goodness you have to check it out. You can zoom
in on the photos of the paintings so tight you can see individual brush strokes
and cracks in the paint of a Van Gogh or a Vermeer. For the musuem
