Returning to the Stehekin trip, I painted this on the deck of the house we rented.

Aaahhh, what a great trip.

Running around working on last minute details for the Fresh Paint Festival tomorrow. Don and I did most of the set up this evening. Thank goodness for tall, helpful husbands with long arms!

Nocturne #1 - Plein Air

I thought I would give plein air painting at night a try. It looks like

I need to practice this a lot more. :)  The headlamp I wore lit

the painting and my palette pretty well. I wasn't, however,

prepared for the bug onslaught. I had to spend some time the next

day picking off all the little bugs from my painting. Ugh.
