I spotted this huge gorgeous lilac bush on a morning walk of my neighborhood a couple of weeks ago. Fortunately for me, they lived in the yard of some good friends. I didn't have to do much arm twisting to get permission to run home with a few clusters. Woo! Hoo!

Day 262 Lilacs in the Morning

Lilacs in the Morning

Oil on Gessobord

Another image from the spring plein air trip. These were

growing in front of an old abandoned house. The house was

in sad shape but the lilac bush was gorgeous.

Day 177 Nancy's Lilacs

Nancy's Lilacs

Another painting in the "Flowers from Friends" group. I met Nancy

through PAWA (Plein Air Washington Artists). She is a terrific

plein air painting buddy. Thanks Nancy!
