After going a bit crazy buying Poinsettias at Molbaks, I couldn't resist doing a painting of these glorious plants. It kept me well occupied during the week surrounding Christmas. I put the last strokes on it yesterday.

Okay, here we are back to the bold color I can't resist. Did I ever mention that I love red? It appears orange or red/orange it way up there too because I'm pretty darn happy with this little painting.

About Me

I am a very grateful product of the daily painting movement. A little over five years ago, I started painting daily. After a week of posting on DPW, I began to regularly sell my work. Hurrah!!! Since then I've sold many, many little paintings, won several awards and now teach weekly oil painting classes and the occasional workshop. I cannot believe my good fortune. To the people who started the daily painting movement and developed it into what it is today, thank you from the bottom of my heart. Without you I would be currently working in the local high school cafeteria. Instead, I'm doing what I love.
