So I've been keeping an eye out for interesting fabrics

to use as backgrounds. It recently occurred to me that

my clothes closet could be a source of new still life

material. The background in this painting is an

old skirt of mine. The patterns are fun but ended up

being very time consuming to paint. Maybe not

 the best subject for a daily painting. :)
