No. 626 Gasworks Park

Gasworks Park
Oil on Gessobord
6" x 6"

A couple of weeks ago, I spent the afternoon painting with Janice Kirstein. Lucky me! She suggested we try Gasworks Park. I didn't really know what to expect since I'd only been there once many years ago. The park turned out to be a plein air painter's delight! With beautiful views of downtown Seattle across the water and the funky remains of the gasworks, it was hard to choose what to paint.

Janice doin' her thing.

Look at all the lovely blues Janice likes to use!

We were getting a lot of attention until these yogis showed up. Honestly!

Beware of the geese! Or more precisely their poo on the bottom of your shoes. :)
Despite the well fertilized lawn it was a wonderful afternoon painting. Thank you, Janice!!!
