It was a lovey evening at Ebey's Landing on Whidbey Island with super clear skies. Skies so clear you could actually see Mt. Rainier!

This is one of many paintings that found new homes last weekend at the Coupeville Arts and Crafts Fair. Thank you so much everyone for adopting one or more of my paintings! It is much, much appreciated. I hope you enjoy them immensely!

A favorite family haunt on Whidbey Island, I've painted it before and no doubt will paint it again.  Don and the girls love looking for agates here. There is also a wonderful hike along the bluff. I had intended to work on this some more but history shows I'm not very good about going back to work on old paintings. Not when there are so many new things to paint!

Ebey's Landing with PAWA

This is a return to the plein air paint out this weekend. The first day, you might

remember, we painted at a snow covered Fort Casey. The second day we met

at one of my family's all time favorite haunts on Whidbey Island, Ebey's Landing.

Just a few patches of snow were left. This is the view looking south toward Fort Casey.

Sometimes you can even see Mt. Rainier from here - sometimes. There is a wonderful

hike up on the bluff that I highly recommend. It was great fun showing this place off to

the other members of the PAWA group.
