I discovered this wonderful view while exploring mountain roads near Roslyn. It was a beautiful fall afternoon with a sprinkling of snow on the mountain tops and the vine maples practically glowing in scarlets, oranges and yellows.

It's the time of year to focus on gratitude. I have many, many things to be thankful for not the least of which is you taking the time out of your day to take a peak at my art work. Best wishes to you for a wonderful Thanksgiving.

Had a great time at the Rexville Grange art show this weekend. Love to chat with fellow artists while working there. I couldn't resist doing a little shopping of my own. A few of my mini paintings came home with me. I'm going to post them for sale without auction over the next few days just in case someone would like to use them as a stocking stuffer for that quilter in their life. :)

I shot the photo for this painting while staying at a lovely bed and breakfast just outside of the Bavarian themed town of Leavenworth. 

I actually painted it while doing a demo of lovely Williamsburg oil paints at Daniel Smith's vendor event in Seattle. It's one of those events where any money you earn is immediately spent on cool supplies seen at the next person's demo.

I'm sad the photo doesn't do this justice because I REALLY like the way this painting turned out. Found this little red beauty in an antique shop in Cashmere.
