Day 306 Way Overdue
The large brass pitcher in this painting was borrowed from a dear friend about, oh I'd say, a year ago. Yes, so far as I know she is still a friend. Thank you Renee, for your infinite patience. I knew it would be an awesome prop again this fall. :)

Day 305 Studio Envy
I painted this still life in the amazing studio of the wonderful lady and artist, Donna Trent. Her studio is large, full of light and stocked with wonderful still life props. It's also full of art books and Donna's lovely paintings. What more could a person ask for?

Day 304 Saving Gas 2
Back in the front yard again. Another gorgeous afternoon for painting outside. I thought it would take less energy to paint at home then in the field. After arranging the pumpkins, then rearranging and rearranging them again, I ended up being just as tired. On the bright side, it was a good opportunity to catch up with the neighbors walking by.

Day 303 Walking with My Hubby
Mill Creek has a very nice walking path on it's western edge. On one side of the path are shops, town homes and apartments. On the other side are streams, ponds and forest. From one end to the other is about three miles. In the middle are some terrific restaurants. While on the path, Don and I spotted this lovely heron. We celebrated the end of our walk with lunch at the local Mexican restaurant. All in all a very nice day out.
Day 302 Saving Gas
It was a gorgeous fall day. Absolutely not a day to paint inside. Instead of roaming the countryside to find a good view, I decided to set up shop in my front yard.

Day 301 Megan's New Sleeping Bag
Megan received a new sleeping bag for her first backpacking trip this summer. I walked by while she was trying it out in the family room and had to snap a picture of those cute eyes peering out at me.
