No 877 Coupville Wharf at Low Tide

Coupeville Wharf at Low Tide
Oil on Canvas Panel
5" x 7"

Wow! I hope you are having a great summer. We've had an excellent one. Filled with lots of new places to explore and paint, I couldn't be happier. It's that festival time of year though. So it's time to settle down and get ready for the Coupeville Arts Festival. It will be my only festival this summer unless I get a last minute call from the Fresh Paint folks.

I've been redirecting a lot of my online activity from my blog to Instagram. So if you are on Instagram please follow me at scmcmanamen or https://www.instagram.com/scmcmanamen/
It's much easier and less time consuming to post there so that's where you will see most of the action. :)

No. 641 Coupeville Wharf Plein Air

Coupeville Wharf - Plein Air
Oil on Linen Panel
7" x 5"

Enjoyed a lovely summer afternoon painting this on the edge of beautiful Penn Cove.

Spent the morning with the amazing Ms. Holly Stafford hanging my lastest show at the Woodfire Grill. The reception will be this Wednesday evening starting at 6pm. Happy hour prices apply during the reception. They have a great happy hour menu. Can't wait to partake!

This is my third show at Anthony's Woodfire Grill. A huge thanks to Holly and the Grill for having me back.

I knew my "Artist Point" painting would look great there. :)

Craven Pumpkins - one of my favorite watercolors.

The view my paintings are enjoying...

Then end of the pier is a teeny, tiny walk from the restaurant.
The show will be up until the end of October. I hope you get a chance to see it!

It's always fun painting in downtown Coupeville!

I'm very excited to announce that two of my painting were excepted into the Edmonds Art Festival juried art show. This is one of the tougher shows in the area to get into, so I'm very honored. Don and I visited the show this morning and discovered that Heirloom Silver sold! Whoopee!
It's a wonderful art show and festival. I highly recommend a visit.

No. 387 Coupeville Wharf Kayaks

Coupeville Wharf Kayaks
Oil on Linen Panel
5" x 7"

If you have spent any time on the Coupeville Wharf on Whidbey Island you will recognize these practically iconic sea kayaks. Not only are they fun to look at but they are fun to rent too. Penn Cove is a great place for an afternoon paddle.
