After each major event since the beginning of summer I think, "now things will slow down". Ha! That certainly hasn't been the case. I still remain optimistic that soon I will return to a more consistent blog posting schedule. This was painted late this summer after dropping my sister off at the airport in Vancouver, B.C. It's my first attempt at painting water lilies in plein air.

VanDusen Garden is well worth a visit for a pleasant afternoon stroll. You can even purchase a picnic in the onsite café to enjoy on the lovely grounds .
