This gorgeous spot is near a popular campground north of Roslyn. I spent a lovely morning here painting with friends. Little did I know how close I had come to disaster. I left the group early to get ready for an art reception. A text message informed me that my dear friend Nancy had spotted and retrieved my paint box and umbrella (which I didn't even know I'd forgotten yet) left high on the boulder I had been perched on painting. Considering how much money was invested in my paint box and umbrella I will be forever grateful!!!
