No. 868 Roaming the Village

Roaming the Village
Oil on Canvas Panel
7" x 5"

Oh, my! We had some terrific bird paintings come out of class last month. Yes, our theme was chickens.  I found this fellow calmly dodging a toddler at Country Village in Bothell.

On a separate note, after weeks of feverishly working on paintings for the Rexville Grange show, I'm happy to say they are done and delivered! For those who are interested in attending this great little show while they are checking out the daffodils or tulips in Mt. Vernon...

Mini Ornament #3
Oil on Canvas
3 1/2 x 2 1/2

I have a bunch of my paintings on display at a great little art show near Mt. Vernon. I created a whole series of mini ornament paintings especially for the show. I'm thinking they would make great stocking stuffers. I'll be working there next weekend. If you are able, come by and say hi!!

No. 773 Tulips in Red Pitcher

Red Pitcher
Oil on Canvas Board
7" x 5"

This is one of my favorite recent paintings. It's for sale at the Rexville Grange Art Show near the tulip fields in Mt. Vernon. The subject matter seemed appropriate. The show starts Friday. If you are headed up that way, I highly recommend a visit. There's some great stuff there and I'm already afraid any profit I might make will probably be spent at the show...

I drove by the tulip fields yesterday after setting up the show. Lots of daffodils in bloom but not much in the way of tulips yet. Here is a link to check out what is currently in bloom:
